Developing Country Studies(DCS)Workshop Held the First Academic Activity of this Semester

The first academic activity of this semester was held by the Developing Country Studies(DCS)Workshop in the Room 315 of Mingzhai Building from 12:00 p.m to 13:30 p.m on February 25..

Huazhong Tu, a DCS doctoral student of grade 2012, gave his speech on the topic of the relationship between China and the South Asian Countries. South Asian Countries is rightly described as the land of great ethnic, religious, cultural and linguistic diversity; Tu presents an overall view of the political and strategic issues affecting the relations between China and its South Asian neighbours. Several participants expressed appreciation and confusion on how to improve the relationship between China and South Asian Countries.

Professor Chuanjie Zhang, Director of DCS Program, hosted the lecture, and 6 DCS doctoral students of the grade 2012 and 5 DCS doctoral students of the grade 2013 participated in this event.
