Developing Country Studies (DCS) Workshop held the 2nd academic activity for the Spring Semester, 2014

The 2nd academic activity of Developing Country Studies (DCS) Workshop, Tsinghua University was held in room 315, Mingzhai Building, in spring semester from 5:15 to 6:50pm on 10 March 2014.

Fu Congcong, DSC doctoral student of grade 2013, delivered a presentation on “Hindu Culture and Perception of Kingship in the Ancient Malay World”.

Fu discussed the penetration of Hindu kingship perception in the ancient Malay World while illustrating the Hindu influence on the Malay Perception of Kingship in pre-Islam era viewed from language, protocol, myths and legends point.

Professor Zhang Chuanjie, Director of DCS Program, hosted the lecture, and 4 DCS doctoral students of the grade 2013, 4 DCS doctoral students of the grade 2014 participated.
