The Seventh Academic Activity of Developing Country Studies (DCS) Lecture Series Held in Autumn Semester

The seventh academic activity of Developing Country Studies (DCS) Program in autumn semester was held in the Room 315 of Mingzhai Building from 11:45 to 13:00 on December 12th, 2013.

He Wenping, a specialist in Africa's relations with China and major Western powers, African democratic transition and South African politics, form Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), gave a presentation surrounding the topic of “The Middle Asia upheaval after Arab Spring”. Based on the series of uprisings, social protests, and rebellion occurring among many nations of the Arab World which began in the spring of 2011, using interesting and easy-following description, she illustrated an overall analysis on the current situation in Middle East area and Egypt.
